FAQ's
Since this is unlike anything else in Shasta County, I'm sure you have a ton of questions. Below is a list of the frequently asked questions. If you don't see the answer you are looking for feel free to call or email us.
How many people can play at the same time?
There are 7 TV's (5 inside and 2 outside). Each TV can have 4 players for a total of 28 players. However, the number of guests allowed inside the truck during COVID restrictions may vary based on state reopening guidelines.
What gaming consoles do you have?
We have Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
Can I limit the maturity level of games offered?
Yes!
Can we play our own games?
Unfortunately no. For liability reasons we cannot use your personal games in the game truck consoles.
Will the game truck need to plug into an outlet for power?
No, the game truck is self-sufficient using a generator to power the game truck.
Where will the game truck park?
The trailer is mobile so you can have the party at the location of your choice. We ask that there is a space equal to 5-6 car lengths to allow the driver to pull in to the space comfortably.
Is there an extra charge if more people show up to the party than estimated?
Absolutely not! Just keep in mind that the game theater allows 20 to play at once inside, and 8 more outside (depending on weather.) For large groups we can play in fundraiser/tournament mode and rotate groups through.
Is there a minimum age or skill level required?
With games for all ages, everyone can play! Though we do find that kids 6 and older seem to have the most fun.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
Are food and drinks allowed in the trailer?
No. In order to keep the game consoles nice and sticky free, we ask that no food or drinks enter the trailer.
Can the game truck come to a park?
We are approved to have park parities in the following cities: Red Bluff, Anderson, and Palo Cedro.
When do I pay for my event?
A valid credit card or debit card is required to guarantee and pay for your NorCal Game Truck reservation. The card will not be charged until we confirm your appointment. Once confirmed, for events more than 14 days out, we will charge a $100 deposit and the remaining balance will automatically be charged to the card on file 14 days prior to the event. If the booking is within 14 days of the event the entire amount will be charged upon confirmation.
COVID-19 updates and safety measurements
NorCal Game Truck is not a public event facility, so you control the guest list and who your children come into contact with at your event. Each party takes place in a place of your choosing and within a controlled environment that is thoroughly cleaned before your event following the guidelines laid out by the state of CA. This includes cleaning all equipment, seating areas, floors, and door handles with an EPA registered disinfectant and training our game coaches on updated safety policies and procedures.
Are masks required?
